Joerg Gruenwald - PhytoPharm
The Journal is an important contribution to update our industry about new trends and opportunities, an excellent platform for discussion between the international players.

Denbigh Lloyd - Cerestar Cargill
PharmaChem and NutraCos fulfil a valuable role in keeping readers up to date with critical developments in our field, as well as providing insight into trends within the industry. Key industry events are previewed, enabling readers to make a judgement about attendance and making sure they don't miss on the major talking points. It is the responsibility of the board to ensure that the high quality of PharmaChem and NutraCos is maintained, and that the magazines continue to provide an important and relevant service to readers."

In describing your way of publishing information on nutritionals, nutriceuticals and cosmaceuticals I will use line "the format that you have pioneered". The format that you have pioneered meets the demand for news that combines sound science, represent cutting edge of new products on the market and are friendly to read and comprehend. This is not easy to accomplish such combination of virtues in the nutritional/nutriceutical publishing business, besieged by mushrooming amount of information. Some publishers attempt to deal with glut of information by providing the "sound-bites" or a one-line information, e.g. "Vitamin E at 1, 000 IU/day in 20 diabetic subjects improved endothelial function (source of citation)". There is a merit to this approach, but the "sound-bite" information often has all shortcomings of the second-hand information, i.e. conveys one side of the research and does not allow for the reader's own opinions and conclusions. On the other end of publication spectrum there is the golden and indispensable peer-review standard, which nevertheless does not provide the innovative information, e.g. use of glucosamine sulfate in treatment of arthritis was evaluated in peer-review publications only few years after its wide use in nutriceutical formulations. Therefore, there is an obvious need for publications that you have initiated with NutraCos - staffed with highly professional people who are able to select the right information, promptly evaluate the information and then publish it in popular scientific or scientific format. The correct information and speed of its communication (meaning also readers who are willing to read and absorb it) are both necessary for successful modern publications of nutritional/nutriceutical news. Keep up.

Franz Timmermann - Cognis Functional Food & Medical Nutrition
What do I like on Nutracos ??? First I like the attractive front pictures ! I also like the clear and consistent design and structure of all articles which gives Nutracos a specific look. I like to see references in most of the articles (also commercial ones) which gives the reader a chance to have a more detailed look into the issue. I like the industry news at the end of each journal Last but not least I like the mix of ingredient information and a broader look into health related issues such as health concepts, application and regulation What can be improved !!! I miss some colour
